What is Echo?

Beetext Echo is an ICAT (Integrated Computer-Aided Translation) solution which integrates directly with Beetext Flow. The integration provides convenience as project managers receive pre-translated files at their fingertips immediately when client requests enter the system. Added convenience is that all members of the language service supply chain (project manager, translators, reviewers, etc...) can access the Beetext Echo translation environment directly through the provider portal in Beetext Flow.

What's its purpose?

Translation. Online collaboration. In today’s business world, there is an ever present need for translation, localization in addition to many other language services. The issue is that many of today’s language technology providers take advantage of the crucial need in order to sell CAT tools to the end users at often exaggerated prices.

Beetext Echo aims to eliminate the cost to the service provider in addition to installation issues by providing immediate, easy access to a translation environment through the Beetext Flow provider portal so that LSPs (Language Service Providers) will no longer have to worry about whether their service providers have CAT tools available to them on top of worrying about version incompatibility.

Eliminate worry; focus on efficiency by using ICAT technology.

How it works

As service providers access their task list via the provider portal in Beetext Flow, they would be able to access the integrated translation environment in a single click. This would provide a convenient method of executing their assigned tasks while remaining within the Beetext Flow provider portal. No downloading of files or sending of emails.

The unique aspect about Echo is that the integrated translation environment is completely web-based and TM-driven. Beetext Echo would also be able to provide vital statistics back to the project manager.

Don’t want to use Beetext Echo at every step of the workflow? No problem, you control who has access to the system through the provider’s permissions.
