Remember way back when?

Lean back in your chair and think of how you envisioned what your company would become the day that you made the decision to go for it. Think back. Take a deep breath. Smile.

Now, think of where you are. Obviously, in the beginning things were probably a little bit hectic, but manageable. You could manage your spending, revenue, incoming demand, distribution of work and you proved you could deliver where others may not have been as confident or thought possible.

You likely managed to do this because you love what you do and because you always looked for better ways to do things, better ways to become more efficient, to succeed. Those searches will most likely never stop. Thankfully there are solution providers (ahem, Beetext), that strive to make your growing pains non-existent.

In the light of continued success, you’ve brought on more and more resources. You’ve hire additional project managers (who are of course up selling and propelling you forward; see article from June) and are looking to streamline processes to ensure efficiency. Management of resources and distribution of work, quoting and invoicing are naturally becoming more challenging with your increasing workload. But that’s a good thing. It means you’re sailing a healthy ship.

As you wouldn’t want your ship to hit rough seas, Project Efficiency Solutions have come into play by ensuring smooth sailing throughout potential gale force winds and why they’ve become the hot topic throughout the industry and port of safety for many.

Coming back from metaphor-ville, Project Efficiency Solutions such as Beetext Flow really do help you handle growth. It does so by enabling you to produce real-time reports, by enabling you to see the workload of your providers, by enabling side by side rate comparisons at the time you move to generate a workflow for your requests and transfer knowledge from project manager to project manager with ease. Beetext Flow is an endless possibility of options... if you would like it to be. Otherwise it’s just as comfortable sticking to a rigid step-by-step.

Considering hiring another project manager? You may like to ask yourself the following question, are you prepared to begin the knowledge transferring process? PESs are to the language industry what Contact Management Systems are to the sales force. What that is: essential... for the transfer of information/knowledge and the ability to effectively and efficiently complete the primary functions of a project manager.

Archiving, indexing, managing status, availability, provider availability, the possibilities go on and on. If you’re growing or simply looking for a more efficient and flexible method to handle your projects, inquire about a Beetext PES or request a demonstration. 1 hour could change the way you do things, to the way you wanted to do things.

Tips and Tricks for Beetext Flow

Did you know that in Beetext Flow it is now possible to conduct a mass export of your providers in Flow at any given time.

It's true! As one of the long requested features of Flow, Beetext has listened and now provided the export to csv functionality in Flow 2007 R2.

In the provider section of Flow, you'll now notice an extra button labelled "Export CSV". What's best is that it's super easy to use. Just follow the following steps.

Exporting Providers to CSV

  1. Click the new button found on the lower left hand side, EXPORT CSV
  2. Decide whether you would like column headers by checking the show column title field
  3. Decide on the delimiter to be used to separate your data and select the language to be used in the CSV file
  4. Click generate and save locally.

Why is this useful? You can now make a back up of your provider information at any given time.

A Testimonial from a very dear customer.

"We originally adopted the Flow solution to provide a method of measuring our activities and justify the hire of additional human resources to upper management in order to meet the demand of our clients.

Since the implementation of the Beetext PES, we’ve processed tens of thousands of requests using flow and have been able to streamline the request reception and ensure a strict follow up is performed. The online request forms make the entire request process much easier for us especially when making tens of requests per day. All this without even having mentioned Find which helps our linguistic teams to enhance their productivity in addition to the quality of their work.

Beetext is a strategic partner for our team."
Kelig Glorennec, Director of Translation Services, Rogers Wireless Inc.

Bryan Montpetit, VP of Sales and Marketing at Beetext says: "We're proud to have Rogers as part of the Beetext community and we are dedicated to ever-strengthening our relationship with them."
